Service Description

Plyometric Training and Yoga will Unlock Your Sport Potential. This unique conditioning program is designed to help students athletes strengthen, recharge, and hone their mental game. These 60-minute balanced classes will bring both physical and mental benefits, helping athletes perform at maximum levels. Plyometric (Plyo) training will combine explosive movements to increase power, speed, agility, and strength, while yoga will offer a calming practice to teach stronger physical posture, flexibility, breathing exercises, and sport specific meditation. This program will develop well rounded athletes who are stronger, mentally prepared, and less prone to sport specific injury. Class Design: 40 minutes of intensive Plyo training combined with 20 minutes of Yoga cool down. Our instructors bring 20 years of experience helping individuals achieve their full potential in training, competition, and healthy living. ● Dr. Duston Morris is a professor of Health Sciences and the Health Coaching Coordinator at UCA. He owns 3 Sport Fitness, which offers training and fitness programs for athletes seeking optimal athletic performance. ● Dr. Marian Smith is owner of Yoga Maumelle and Comprehensive Health Psychology Testing. She believes that fitness and mental training are the core of developing individuals that are functioning at optimal health levels. ● Coach Priscila Almeida is owner of PCA Sports, coach of Little Rock Juniors National team, and a professional engineer. Priscila brings her expertise as a lifelong volleyball competitor with passion for developing young athletes.
