Stress Reduction

Dr. Smith is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction various styles of yoga including: Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Aqua Kriya Yoga, and Yoga Trapeze. She is available for virtual yoga or in person with private individual sessions or groups. 

 

Yoga can also be integrated into regular psychotherapy sessions which may even be covered by your insurance. She is also trained in biofeedback which can be used for relaxation, pain management, sleep disorder, and circulation regulation.

As both a student and teacher of yoga Dr. Smith is an avid proponent of the benefits of alternative wellness practices such as relaxation, breathing techniques, and meditation to supplement overall health along with your prescribed medical needs.
